Triax + The Confederation of Aerial Industries

Triax is a member of the CAI, the representative trade body for the TV signal distribution industry (Member No. M53).

The CAI is a nationally recognised organisation and encompasses all aspects of regulation and training for the industry.

The Confederation aims to raise standards within the industry and applicants for membership have to satisfy the Board of Directors that their company conducts a sound and reputable business.

Applicants must also:-

  • Employ staff competent for the type of business being conducted.
  • Conform to any Standards or Codes of Practise adopted by the Conferderation from time to time for its Members and any International or British Standards appropriate to their business.
  • Agree to investigation at any time, and the examination and test of any equipment manufactured or supplied, or of any installation or any conduct which could have a detrimental effect on the reputation of the Confederation or any of its Members.
  • Guarantee any aerial, equipment and / or installation work for a minimum period of 12 months, and in default undertake to pay all the expenses of the Confederation in carrying out remedial work, including replacement equipment.
